As a trusted and skilled dentist near Laguna Niguel, Dr. Palmer has always enjoyed helping her patients smile. No matter the reason for their visit, she uses her skills and expertise to enhance, repair, and restore smiles of all types, leaving patients feeling better about their health and appearance.
More than a decade ago, Dr. Palmer began her dental career as a dental assistant in Dr. Schaub’s practice. Learning more about the industry and day-to-day operations, she became passionate about the field and the opportunity to build relationships with patients. Deciding to follow in her mentor’s footsteps, she pursued dentistry and attended the Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California after completing her bachelor’s degree at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.
While pursuing her dental doctorate, she maintained her focus on her education, clinical experiences, leadership, and community outreach.
Since graduation, she has remained an active participant in various continuing education courses and has become Invisalign certified. Dr. Palmer also has extensive CAD/CAM training and is working toward a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry.
In 2020, she bought Palm Dentistry from her mentor and continues to hone her skills so that she can provide her patients with the best dental care in the area. Part of her efforts include staying up to date on the latest in minimally invasive biomimetic dentistry.
When she’s not busy improving smiles, she and her husband, Dr. Nehi Ogbevoen, who is a practicing orthodontist, spend time with their two girls, Capri and London. She enjoys entertaining friends and family as well as playing golf, riding her Peloton, and playing at the beach.
